World Water Day!

"No water, no life. No blue, no green." #SylviaEarle

- Roughly 1 in 10 people on earth, doesn’t have access to clean water. 1 in 3 people lives without safe drinking water.

- By 2050, up to 5.7 billion people could be living in areas where water is scarce for at least one month a year.

Our existence simply depends on water yet it is becoming scarce.

World Water Day, is a day to remember the importance of water, a day to consider the impact of clean water in the world. This year, World Water Day is about what water means to people and how we can protect this vital resource. To me, water is happiness, it is life. I want to help ensure our rivers and oceans are protected and everyone has access to clean water.

I created a series of illustrations for this special day. The last one contains small tips you can apply to your daily life. If you can, take bigger actions and reach out to organizations, learn more, volunteer, donate, help the world become a better place.
